Grown up in Los Angeles, the talented Kimba made his musical studies in New York, developing his personal portfolio while listening to the Jazz mentors of American Spiritual/Avant-garde (Sun Ra especially), and being deeply influenced by the legendary Madlib's Jazz projects. Since his very young age, he travelled a lot to Italy, and this created the connection with the world of Italian Library music and the renomated Italian composers like Piero Umiliani and Piero Piccioni, that definitely completed and surely influenced his musical taste. The 3 tracks from this EP are entirely DIY studio recordings, with a distinct Lo-Fi sound and shades of Spiritual Jazz all over.
