October Pumpkins everywhere Like the state has fallen to decorative produce Cinnamon in the air Dogs with tragic biographies I’ve started a kindness project Mostly because evil got repetitive Orange steps and cardigan weather, pull it tight The whole damn season is trying together, too polite I volunteer where the dogs don’t care What part is mercy and what is flair Scratch their heads, distribute treats No one asks what motive eats They want the hand They want the meat It’s the cleanest audience I’ll ever meet The Kindness Project – orange glow The Kindness Project – nice and slow Check the box, complete the form Moral weather, seasonally warm Orange and hollow, that’s the shell Looks like heaven, runs like hell Good girl! Project mode! Freshman lost between the brick Looks half-dead I walk her left and keep it quick Straight ahead No sting, no smirk, no little crown Just get the trembling body down To the right room, right hallway bend Nod once, leave, and let it end Then I wait for the glow they sell Nothing Just administrative well The Kindness Project – orange glow The Kindness Project – nice and slow Check the box, complete the form Moral weather, seasonally warm Orange and hollow, that’s the shell Looks like heaven, runs like hell Good girl!
