Third was the quiet divine examination (verse 11), where Jesus entered the temple and silently observed, revealing that many who praised Him publicly did not truly love Him, while Bethany represented genuine devotion. The sermon challenges us to consider what the King sees when He looks at our hearts and lives, reminding us that He is not deceived by outward appearances or religious activity, and that true submission goes beyond public praise to sincere inward devotion.
