The King Falls

As Saul falls under covenant judgment, David responds not with vengeance but with grief, honor, and righteous judgment against the lying Amalekite. This sermon walks through the defeat on Mount Gilboa, the false report, and David's heartfelt lament. It calls believers to reject division, cherish unity, guard the household of faith, resist a revolutionary spirit, and recognize the true friend enemy distinction that protects Christ's church.
