The King in the Shadows

A star leads foreign seekers to Jesus, but King Herod sees the child as a threat and schemes to destroy Him. As Joseph carries his family into Egypt, God protects His Son and fulfils promises that show Jesus as the faithful Son who succeeds where Israel failed. Herod's violence brings terrible grief, yet it cannot overturn God's plan. Jesus later lays down His life for His enemies and rises victorious.
