The King is Here: Will I Be Married in Heaven?

On Sunday we continued in our Luke Series with a teaching from Alex on Luke 20v27-39. This time, it’s the Sadducees who try to lay a trap for Jesus by asking him about resurrection. Jesus responds to them by correcting their literalist interpretations of the Torah. He invites them to interpret the Scriptures instead through covenant & the heart of God.  The Scriptures are not an instruction manual to memorize, but an introduction to the Father - an invitation to have relationship with Yahweh the way Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob did.
