The Kingdom of Israel (Level 2 | 20)

We explore the transition from the era of the judges to the era of the kings in Israel. We witness the rejection of God's direct rule by the Israelites, who demand a human king like other nations. Samuel, the last judge, anoints Saul as the first king of Israel. However, Saul's reign takes a turn when he disobeys God's command regarding sacrifices, leading to the announcement that the kingdom will be taken away from him and given to a king after God's heart.
