The Kingdom of the Lord (Obadiah - Ep. 04)

from Mountainview Church Audio · host Mountainview Church

Human beings are prone to establishing kingdoms. There are the ancient kingdoms of days gone by, and kingdoms of our modern time. There are kingdoms of wealth, prestige and power, both legal and illegal. And there are unstated personal kingdoms in our hearts and minds, where we crown ourselves as the monarchy.Although very different, these are all types of earthly kingdoms. Earthly kingdoms never last. Why? Because every earthly kingdom carries the same weakness; the human propensity toward pride. This is why God created an eternal kingdom; evidenced in the physical realm, but empowered in the spiritual realm. This week, we enter into our final week, studying the Book of Obadiah. As we close out Obadiah's prophecy, we'll discover the importance of choosing God's eternal kingdom over earthly kingdoms. When all of humanity finally reaches the end, only the Kingdom of the Lord will stand.#Kingdoms #Obadiah #EternalKingdom #EarthlyKingdom #Jesus #Lord #God #Church Mountainview Church carries the necessary Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) license to play and perform the contained Christian worship songs.
