Jason Hunter April 9, 2017 It's a Love Gift 1 = Love Demonstrated - Romans 5:8  - But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  2 = Love Secure = Romans 8:35-39 - Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?36 As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered." 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loves us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.   3 = Love Complete = John 19:30 - When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.   It's a free Gift = Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Two kinds of free 1 = Without Cost = Acts 20:28 -  Keep watch over yourselves and all of the flock of which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with His own blood. 2 = Un-Earned = Ephesians 2:8 - For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -  and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. It's a reproductive Gift Jesus is our example John 13:15 - I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. John 15:9, 12 - As the Father has loved me so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
