DC Comics cooks up a new take on the gangster genre with the release of The Kitchen. Melissa McCarthy, Tiffany Haddish, and Elisabeth Moss star as a trio of marginalized mob wives who must find a way to put food on the table when their Irish hood husbands are busted for armed robbery. Is 1970s midtown Manhattan better off under the protection of wisegals who know how to clean up a blood stain?
