The Labour Appeals Court will hear the matter of the public servants salary increase. Unions are demanding that government honours its three-year wage agreement of 8%. Government has offered to enter into last-minute settlement talks with public sector unions over salary increases after it had previous said it does not have the money for the increases. Labour unions have accused government of operating in bad faith and only wanting to negotiate now at the eleventh hour.
