The Labour Party Conference 2008

Labour's conference in Manchester was billed as Gordon's make or break week. Here, it was almost as though there were two conferences in progress. One; a party united behind their leader, anxious to get on with the job of governing the country, and the other – the gigantic elephant in the room; a party worried they will be annihilated at the next election if Gordon is still in Number Ten and keen to get rid of him now.
