The Lady In Red: Hauntings of Dock Street Theater

Today, Will and Steven travel to their backyard in hopes of uncovering what lurks in the shadows of Dock Street Theater in Charleston, South Carolina. Built in the early 1700s, this theater has been through it all. The original building was destroyed in the famous Fire of 1740. Being reconstructed as a hotel for the wealthy in the 1820s. It eventually would almost face death again in the 30s, before being saved and becoming what it is today.Throughout its life, it has been the host of legends and stories. The most famous being Nettie Dickerson, and how she met her fate on the iron rod balcony. Where she is said to have been struck down by lightning during a fierce storm. Or how Julius Booth, father of John Wilkes Booth, got into a fight and nearly beat a hotel staff member to death.Do these stories still linger? Haunting what is now the Dock Street Theater?
