The Lady in White Wants Her Story Told

from Haunted Texas and Beyond · host Austin Ghost Tours and RenegadeRadio.net

In 2019, host Jeanine Plumer decided to write a ghost tour outside of downtown Austin, focusing on her own neighborhood in southwest Austin.  During her research, she discovered that in 1922, twin tornadoes devastated downtown Austin and surrounding neighborhoods.  As the tornadoes moved to rural farmland in southwest Austin, one residence took a direct hit and everyone in the house was killed.  Other research brought to life additional historic events and people in Southwest Austin, but only the lady in white started reaching out to have her story told.  Jeanine would soon find out that this spirit wasn't a victim of the tornado. One morning, a very upset person posted on the NextDoor app that she had seen a ghost on Convict Hill Road in Southwest Austin. It was a lady in a white dress.  After this post, a woman who once worked with EMS contacted Jeanine and she said SHE was on the scene where she believed the lady in white originated. Other members of the community came forward who had also seen the lady in white.  Just by talking about her she came around.  Listen closely, as you just might hear the ghost!Haunted Texas and Beyond podcast is brought to you by Austin Ghost Tours – the only locally owned ghost tour company in Austin, Texas and RenegadeRadio.net.  Want to have your own ghostly experience?  Sign up for a ghost tour or LITERALLY an out of this world paranormal investigation at the 90-acre living history museum Pioneer Farms and Austin's oldest Scottish Rite Theater at AustinGhostTours.com!  In 2025, the Austin Ghost Tours and Haunted Texas and Beyond teams are organizing spectacular 9-day, 8-night journey to Ireland where Halloween began.
