Joan D. Stamm was on her way to Japan in 2020 when Covid was spreading. She was planning on reseraching a flower temple pilgrimage and to learn the deeper meaning of flowers known as "little Buddhas."  But the universe had others plans and the lock down gave her the opportunity to write this book. She shares great information about the Cherry Blossoms, the Lotus and the Peopny.  She speaks the poetic language of flowers. Joan lived in Kobe, Japan in the early 90's where her interest in Zen and ikebana took root. On her return to the States, she continued to practice and study Zen and Tibetan Buddhism for the next thirty years with various notable teachers. Joan really emphasizes the energy of  trees and flowers. This Show is For all the Flower Lovers.  Her book is called , "The Language of Flowers in the Time of Covid"
