THE LAST DETAIL (1973)

Franz and Paul are lookin' at eight years in the brig and a dishonorable discharge while talking about the 1973 Hal Ashby film THE LAST DETAIL, starring Jack Nicholson!  Two petty officers take their prisoner up the east coast to Portsmouth Naval Prison.  Along the way, they manage to drink a LOT of beer and desperately attempt to have a good time.  It's a classic '70s road trip to nowhere as temperatures drop and time runs short…so pick a winner, kid.
