When a February blizzard pins Luna and her climbing partner inside a remote warming hut on the eastern flank of the Bitterroots, they discover they're not alone. A man is already there: no gear, no supplies, just a worn leather journal and a habit of staring at the wall. As the storm deepens, the temperature inside the hut begins to drop far below what the wind outside could account for.
