The Last of Us | Series Premiere REVIEW

Hey everyone, it looks like the future of video game adaptations is bright because HBO's The Last of Us show has now debuted and WOW. As someone who has now played about half of the first The Last of Us game, I honestly could not imagine a better adaptation of this and everything was perfect. In this SPOILER-FREE review, I get into why this first episode worked so well and why you should give it a watch, whether you LOVED the game or know NOTHING about it. Synopsis: The Last of Us takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie, a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival. - HBO
