With the Titan army looming ever closer to camp, desperate times call for desperate measures. Percy takes on the curse of Achilles by bathing in the Styx to give himself a fighting chance against Kronos. In the process, though, he ends up visiting disturbing details from Luke's past, leaving him to wonder whether the Gods even deserve the half-bloods' help in this fight against the Titans. While Percy remains convinced that he's most definitely on the right side, he's still doubtful about his chances considering Typhon is also on his way, and they're missing the strength of the Ares' cabin in this battle.
