The Last Sunset

Ashley Penin is our special guest this week on the last episode of The DTF Club and has a chat with DTF Club creator/producer, Dyan Tai about Blue Sunset. Blue Sunset is the first instalment in a trilogy of major photographic works. Set amongst the backdrop of the Santa Monica Pier in the Summer of ’87, Blue Sunset is a dystopian vision of heartbreak, loss and nostalgia expressed through a diverse range of characters. A bit more about our guest this week: Ashley is a DIVA Award-Winning Photographer and Filmmaker thriving at the centre of Sydney’s LGBTI Community. He has worked with some of the most respected names in Drag across Australia and the globe, and continues to break ground with the Dream Syndicate – a production haus that was designed to inspire and engage LGBTI artists with the world of film and photography.
