The Late Shift @ 4Ks BBQ (Kitchen Disco) - 18th July 2026

My friends Karim and Karen had a BBQ, and I DJed there alongside a few other excellent selectors. We were outside in the evening, but moved proceedings into their kitchen later on to keep the neighbours onside - because it was LOUD! I had the closing set - about 2am to about 4am... and about 15 mins in I remembered to hit record! Kept the energy high, and bounced through the genres like nobody's business. Chunky house beats, old school and ravey vibes, some loopy nonsense and of course a few forays into disco. Some of the mixing is probably not the best, I was a bit worse for wear by this hour, but people didn't seem to mind. It was lots of fun!
