Jake and Jimmy provide what Richardson said yesterday regarding his back issue. They also debate as to whether the Colts were even aware of this issue prior to selecting him in the draft. (24:27-45:03) – The Athletic’s Zak Keefer joins the program after publishing a story earlier today with James Boyd about the Indianapolis Colts franchise. Zak weighs in on Jim Irsay’s involvement within the franchise right now, assesses whether or not he believes Chris Ballard and Shane Steichen are attached at the hip, and states that Anthony Richardson will be back as the team’s starting quarterback for next season based on what he has been told right now. They revisit what Steichen said about Richardson’s back injury, the way he handled the benching of Richardson, and come to some conclusions about Steichen and Richardson. (1:28:44-1:40:41) – Hour two of the program concludes with Jake and Jimmy wondering if Anthony Richardson’s back injury was detected in the pre-draft process. Jake also compares Richardson to a former Indiana Pacer. (1:40:41-2:05:02) – Tony East from Locked On Pacers and Forbes Sports joins the show to explain what went wrong against the Milwaukee Bucks on New Year’s Eve earlier in the week for the blue and gold.
