In his book, The Law and the Saint, Pink claims that our age is an age of lawlessness. As Pink worked in churches, homes, and communities, the contemporary evangelist witnessed an increasing disrespect for the Divine Law. Why has creation drifted so far away from the moral law which the Creator placed upon us? By expositing Scripture, Pink demonstrates the ways in which the moral law binds us as rational creatures and as Christians. Several passages in the New Testament reveal that this connection between creation to Creation is lasting--even today, God commands that we obey his law. Pink explores the relationship between modern Christians and the ancient rule of the Ten Commandments. Even though the Ten Commandments may sometimes seem inapplicable in today's fast-paced world, Pink reminds us that God's law is timeless. It is Pink's hope that one day all Christians will be able to say, "The Law of Thy mouth is better unto me than thousands of gold and silver...O how love I Thy law! It is my meditation all the day." The Forgotten Rules of Prayer K.C. Hairston At a little church in a small town called Mulga, Alabama, the power of prayer is revealed as the church's pastor (Reverend Hicks) uses stories from his life and the small town to paint a clear picture of the workings of God. The basis on which God chooses to answer our prayers is a question that man simply cannot answer. However, by searching through the Bible and uncovering God's instructions for prayer, we can maximize the likelihood that our prayers will be answered in the future. The exact manner in which prayer works is a secret, and that secret has not yet been revealed to us on earth. According to Deuteronomy 29:29, "The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law." In light of Deuteronomy 29:29, Reverend Hicks uses the Forgotten Rules of Prayer book, which combines all of the cherished "revealed" rules on prayer and presents them in a format that can be passed down, as wa Ignited Fortitude Bobby Valdez & Aaron Sharp At Ignited Fortitude we feel called to make disciples as Jesus tells us in Matthew 28:18-20, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you”. We know every person has been equipped with purpose. Throughout life we let the world and enemy wear us down and doubt ourselves allowing that fire inside us to dwindle or extinguish. The desire of Ignited Fortitude is to make disciples and equip the saints by igniting and continuing to stoke that fire through the power of the Holy Spirit. We are here to come along side you on the path which you have been called, so that we will be found standing firm in contending for the faith but never losing sight of our first Love, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
