The Law and the Spirit

The glory of the new covenant is hard for our finite minds to fathom. The fact that the gospel is "the ministration of righteousness” to those who will receive it is a glorious revelation. When we repent and profess faith in our Lord Jesus Christ we are not merely pardoned; that would be much more than the law could ever do, but we are made righteous, having been cleansed, sanctified and transformed into the image of God. "He has enabled us to be ministers of his new covenant. This is a covenant not of written laws, but of the Spirit. The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life.”‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬
