The Law of The Christ (HaMashiach) is Eternal Life | 3650 Minutes of Prayer

This is Day Twenty-Two of 3650 Minutes of Prayer. This episode centers on the truth that the Law of The Christ (HaMashiach) is Eternal Life, and on who we are in Christ Jesus. Scripture teaches that we are a spirit, we have a soul, and we live in a body. These physical bodies are mortal and will never be immortal. It is our spirit that was created in the likeness of God and made alive by the Spirit of God. In Christ, life is given to the spirit of man, not to the flesh body.In Romans 8:1–17 (AMP), Scripture reveals there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because the law of the Spirit of God in Christ has set us free from the law of sin and death. The weakness spoken of refers to the human flesh body, which cannot please God and cannot inherit life. God condemned sin in the flesh so that the righteous requirement of the Law would be fulfilled in us, as we walk according to the Spirit of God and not according to the impulses of the flesh. The mind set on the flesh leads to death, but the mind set on the Spirit of God brings life and peace.At the center of this passage is Romans 8:16 (AMP), where Scripture declares the Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. This witness is not given to the body or to human identity. The Spirit of God testifies with our spirit, establishing our sonship in Christ. Those led by the Spirit of God are sons and daughters of God.This same truth is confirmed throughout the New Covenant. 2 Corinthians 5:17–18 (AMP) declares that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation … all things are from God. This new creation is the reborn spirit, not the mortal body. Galatians 2:20 (AMP) reveals it is no longer we who live from the flesh, but Christ lives in us by the Spirit of God. Galatians 5:16–18 (AMP) instructs us to walk by the Spirit of God … and those led by the Spirit are not under the law governing the flesh.In the presence of the Lord, there is no white, no black, no Jew, no Gentile. All human distinctions belong to the flesh and the natural world. In Christ, we are united in the Spirit of God, sharing in His sonship as sons and daughters of God.These reflections lead us into prayer, thanking the Father for the law of the Spirit of God in Christ Jesus. We acknowledge our bodies are mortal and temporary, but our spirits have been made alive in Christ.
