The Leadership Purge at Beaumont Has Begun - The Latest on the Proposed Merger with Spectrum Health

Craig's guest is Eric Starkman, Deadline Detroit contributor and author of the blog Starkman Approved.  His latest story for DeadlineDetroit.com shows that high ranking executives are being let go in advance of the proposed merger with Grand Rapids based Spectrum Health.  If the merger goes through, the combined company would have over 64 thousand employees and 22 hospitals in the state.  This is Beaumont's latest attempt to merge with another hospital company, with a stated goal of completing the merger by October first.  That's less than one year after the company tried and failed to merge with Illinois based Advocate Aurora health.
