The Least Shall Be The Greatest! Matthew 20:20-28 (KJV).
from Creating A Prayer Culture For God Prayerline and Podcast · host Pastor Lester Hayes
Pastor Sharon Hayes taught this morning before she led us before the Lord in corporate prayer. The Word of, God’s as taught by Jesus Christ to His disciples in the Gospel of Matthew 20:20-28 kjv. From the lesson we learn from Jesus Christ’s parable that God is calling us to join with Jesus Christ as a co-laborer in His Vineyard. And to be successful requires a Servants mindset. Because based on Jesus Christ’s perspective of leadership. Leaders are first and for most Servants. Once we answer His call to Minister it is actually a call to service. His call to service is not without great reward. However, there will also be times of a temptation and tendency to murmur and complain. It is important to remember that suffering is predicted in service. The challenge and conflict comes as result of human ambitions. As we see in the text and teaching that the Mother prayed and requested of Jesus Christ to know if her sons were going to sit next to Him in a night place and would they be great as a result of serving? Needless to say, Jesus Christ did not answer her prayer. Primarily, because it was a selfish prayer, laced with human ambitions and nothing to with the Spiritual Kingdom of God. Which is what Jesus Christ was teaching them about! Jesus Christ was teaching that there would totally new conditions in the new for them Spiritual Kingdom that He was now teaching them about. Jesus Christ when on a healed to blind men to demonstrate to them what His Father’s Kingdom would consist of, such as, mercy, compassion, grace, opportunity, healing, faith honored, Divine Intervention and Touch for the least of them not so for the greatest of them who are full of Human Ambitions which fails to represent His Father’s Spiritual Kingdom. Which declares that the least of them would be the greatest of them and greatest of them will the least of them. So it unto us according to Your Word Lord in the Book of Matthew 20:20-28 kjv.
