The Left Versus The Right with Governor David Paterson and Jake Novak | 05-23-26

Fmr. Gov. David Patterson and Jake Novak evaluate the deteriorating state of American political culture by reflecting on the Democratic Party's perceived failures following the 2024 election. They argue that modern politics has become a magnet for opportunistic individuals and foreign influence, moving away from a traditional "democracy" toward a system of orchestrated coronations and rigid party control. The conversation contrasts this contemporary lack of accountability with historical examples of political redemption and authentic engagement, such as the Lincoln-Douglas debates or candidates who personally interacted with voters.
