The Legacy Ft Nick Laviolette Ep.162
from The Line Hosted by Blackline
Long before LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, or podcasts existed, there were men who understood the importance of passing along their knowledge, teaching their craft, and mentoring the next generation. In this episode of The Line Podcast, I sit down with Nicholas Laviolette, Director of Mining at LRL Construction, to talk about the work we do with our hands, the fulfillment that comes from doing honorable work, and the responsibility we have to those coming behind us.Nick shares some incredible stories about his origins, his father, his grandfather, and generations of experience in the mining and construction industries. Stories of hard work, mentorship, sacrifice, and even lives saved because of the knowledge and experience passed down through generations. These men weren’t just doing a job. They were building something that would outlast them. They understood what it meant to say TRADES OR DIE long before we ever put those words together. This conversation is about more than mining or construction. It’s about the people who came before us, the lessons they taught us, and our responsibility to carry that knowledge forward. For the Trades.
