Foster care is a tricky business that takes you to places and experiences that you never expected. Whether you are looking at domestic adoption, foreign adoption or a kinship adoption there are certain to be surprises along the way. You will most likely be working with DFS, CPS, or some other form of the child welfare system.  If you are adopting a child, you want to adopt a baby, or becoming a foster parent there are going to be unexpected hurdles along the way.
