This is a conversation I've been wanting to have since first reading his book "American Aurora: Environment and Apocalypse in the Life of Johannes Kelpius" last year. We look at both the historic and legendary versions of Kelpius and attempt to parse what we can learn from both.  Timothy has two upcoming events you all might be interested in. First we will be giving a presentation titled "The Wizard of the Wissahickon: The Life and Legacy of Johannes Kelpius" at the Friends of the Wissahickon at the Wissahickon Valley Park on September 17th at 6pm.
