Send us Fan MailLarry Volk's first racing experience on the Bonneville Salt Flats was in 1959 he then began racing out there in 1963. By 1975 he had gained entry into the Bonneville 200 MPH Club in 1975. He has served as chairman of Save the Salt, President of the Bonneville 200 MPH Club and founding member of the Utah Salt Flats Racing Association. His awards include: Bonneville 200 MPH Club man of the year, Utah Salt Flats Racing Association man of the year, the Bob Higbee Award, and an inductee of the Dry Lakes Racing Hall of Fame.Support the show
