The Lesson of a Failed F5

The F5 is arguably the single most critically essential piece of equipment in The Vault. It's the firewall, the gateway, the traffic controller for the entire infrastructure. And it failed us. The ironic thing is that less than 24 hours ago, I mentioned in a meeting how pleased I was that the F5 hardware specifically had never failed us even once.
