Seven churches. Seven letters. One question: Which one sounds like us? Revelation 2–3 isn’t just Jesus speaking to ancient churches—it’s a warning, a correction, an encouragement, and a call to His Church. You’ve worked hard—but have you lost your first love? You’re suffering—but will you remain faithful? You know the truth—but what have you tolerated? You look alive—but are you dead? You’re comfortable—but have you become lukewarm? Again and again, Jesus says: “Let anyone who has ears to hear listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.” These letters weren’t written just to be studied. They were written to be heard. So open the letter. Read it carefully. Then ask the dangerous question: What is Jesus saying to us? This could also work really well as the setup episode before diving individually into each of the seven churches.
