I don't understand the language, but the choir sounds beautiful. They make you feel like you are in connection with the Bible and the traditional Jewish singing and songs. The vocals on the album are outstanding. There is wonderful and perfect harmony. You can find out about the Levites and what they did in the Bible. The book of Numbers is a good place to start. The Levites are the descendants of Levi. They are Jewish males. From what I can understand, some of them were priests. According to first Chronicles chapter 9 verse 33 some singers, chief of the fathers of Levites, who remaining in the chambers were free: for they were employed in that work day and night. When you listen to Levi's album, it can take your mind back to the Bible.
