Saints 5.31.’26 6.53 PM
Story by: Gail NoblesPhoto cover by: Gail NoblesEnding music: http://audionautix.com Some folks still hold the belief that saints walk amongst us today. I recall a man who, in the grip of danger, believed he glimpsed the holy ones. Now, some may scoff at the notion that saints can be seen, but rest assured, there are those who can perceive the unseen. While some cling to the idea that the dearly departed rest forever in their graves, I firmly believe that, through Christ, they live on. As it is written, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).Consider Moses, who, although he has departed from this world, was seen alongside Jesus and Elijah during the sacred Transfiguration, which is described in the Gospel of St. Matthew (17:1-9). Elijah was taken up to glory in a chariot of fire.Years ago, in a time of sorrow, as I lay across my bed burdened with thoughts, I had a vision. I beheld what I believed to be saints in the clouds, gazing down upon the earth. In a dream, I witnessed them gathered within two distinct clouds.Indeed, God is the all-seeing eye, guiding us to behold what He desires us to see.I'm Gail Nobles. Navigating Truth in Troubled Times 12:12:25 1.45 PM
Story by: Gail NoblesMusic: http://audionautix.comEarthquake effect: Pixabay.comPhoto: Pexels.comIn the big picture of life, which has both good and bad parts, some people today seem to accept everything as normal. They look at history and say, 'What we see is just how it is.' They believe that lies and evil have always been around, sharing stories that go back to the beginning of human history. But we are not blind! We stand on the edge, looking into a deep darkness where important warnings are ringing out. The old prophecies are coming true right in front of us—the signs, the symbols, the cries from a world in trouble! Many of us believe we are living in the end times, where the culmination of history is unfolding before our eyes, and the revelation promised in sacred texts is playing out in real-time.Consider the sadness expressed by King David in Psalm 12, where he calls out to God: 'Help, Lord; for the godly man cease; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.” This cry is still relevant today. The truth seems to be falling apart, with lies and flattery creeping into our hearts like weeds taking over a tree.In these dark times, where lies wear disguises and those who are wise are called fools, we dare to speak up. What is truth? Is it a bright light guiding us through tough times, or is it just a shadow that changes based on how we see things? Each person might say, 'We've always seen these lies.' But deep down, we know this isn’t the same as before; the situation today is more serious than ever!As we witness these signs and feel the earth shaking while hearts grow cold, let’s not give in to the idea that everything is normal. We must recognize that we are amidst the end times and join David in asking God to help us escape from this web of lies. Psalm 12 isn’t just a piece of history; it speaks directly to us now, reminding us that while some may think everything is routine, we are witnessing a profound event in a grand narrative unfolding—one that aligns with the prophecies we hold dear.Revelation and prophecy speak of trials, tribulations, and the ultimate triumph of truth. We see a world in chaos, not just another chapter in an old story, but perhaps the final act of a grand performance. So let’s be alert and pray, for the warnings are louder now than they have ever been, and it’s our job to find the truth amid the noise of deception. May we stay strong in our hearts, and may our cries reach God—Help us, Lord, because lies are everywhere and the faithful are few!I'm Gail Nobles, and you're listening to Bible Happenings Bible Happenings

Isaiah 9 - Prophecy of a Coming Ruler 8:20:25 2.17 PM
Photo: Public DomainToday I would like to talk about Isaiah nine. In Isaiah nine verse two, it says the people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death upon them have the light shine. The verse seems to be pointing towards Jesus Christ. He is the light of the world. Today we hope for a better future, and it seems we are still in a struggle against darkness. There are people that are waiting to be delivered from oppression and war and poverty, among other struggles and hardships. In verse six and seven, the Bible says for unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace.Verse seven, of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne, updated upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of host will perform this.Isaiah 7 is a prophecy of a coming ruler who will bring light, joy, and peace. I’m Gail Nobles. The Unyielding Truth - Jeremiah 36 7:25:25 5.30 PM
Photo: Public Domain WikipediaStory by Gail NoblesLet me take you on a journey to the pages of the ancient text, where the heart of God's truth beats louder than the clamor of kings and the churning of human hearts! Look with me into Jeremiah 36, a chapter saturated with divine purpose and tragic folly, where the weight of God's Word intermingles with the pride of man—a dramatic scene that is as touching today as it was in those dusty corridors of history. Here we find the prophet Jeremiah, a man set apart, a voice crying in the wilderness of Israel—a man laden with the burden of divine revelation. God commanded this faithful servant to pen His prophecies, to record the very nature of divine warning and redemption. Imagine, my friends, the early breath of those words, flowing like a river of truth from the quill of Baruch, as he read aloud to all who would listen—the officials, the leaders, the common folk! Oh, the gravity of it! It was God's message for a world blinded by sin!But enter King Jehoiakim, a man wrapped in the robes of arrogance and disdain, who heard not the voice of the Almighty but only the flutter of the pages that he could not control. He sat in his lofty hall, a sovereign with a heart hardened by pride, and when he heard the Word of God read before him, it was as if it fell upon stone. He took the scroll, cut it with a knife, and tossed those precious words into the flames, mocking the very foundation of truth. Can you hear it? The crackle of the scroll as it burns, the fire devouring divine warnings meant for the king himself!Yet, listen closely! God is not mocked. For though Jehoiakim believed he could silence the voice of Heaven, the Almighty's come-back was swift and decisive; He commanded Jeremiah to write again, to pen not only what had been lost but also add the judgment that awaited this king, a king who so arrogantly dismissed the divine call to repentance! Oh, how the tables turned! How God’s Word, unchangeable and unstoppable, eclipsed the egos and ambitions of earthly rulers! And here lies the message for us! We are called to stand determined, steadfast in our faith, regardless of the pressures that batter against our convictions! We may find ourselves in a world that despises the truth, faced with voices that seek to drown out the Gospel's call. But just as Jeremiah, with courage ignited in his heart, proclaimed the message that could not be extinguished, so too are we urged to bear witness even when the fires of opposition seek to consume us.Take inspiration from Jeremiah's strength! Understand that every act of defiance against God will meet its consequence, for His truth cannot be diluted by the flames of human rejection. Build your faith, lift your voices in courage, and let the world know that God's Word remains unshakeable, eternal—a light in the darkness! You're listening to Bible Happenings. The Divine is Present 5:24:25 8.59 PM
Photo: Wikipedia Public DomainStory by: Gail NoblesMusic Intro: http://audionautix.comPhoto: Wikipedia Public DomainStory by: Gail NoblesMusic Intro: http://audionautix.comYou got **Mary and Gabriel.** Now Mary, she's just a young woman, mindin' her business, probably thinkin' about settlin' down. And suddenly an angel, Gabriel himself, walks right in! Not a dream, not a vision, but he came directly to her.! This ain't some whisper in the wind, understand? This is a *messenger* from God, telling her she's gonna carry the Messiah. This shows you the spiritual ain't some far-off thing. It's *right here*, can touch you, can change your whole life in a heartbeat! The divine is *present*!Then you got **Jacob, wrestlin' an angel!** Now this ain't no polite conversation, no "How do you do?" This is a full-on *struggle*! Jacob, he's been running from his past. But this night, he's gotta face something bigger than himself. He's literally grappling with the divine! He holds on tight, refusing to let go until he gets a blessing. This ain't no walk in the park, church! This shows you that the spiritual life, it ain't always easy. It can be a wrestling match, a struggle to find your place with God. But if you hold on, if you *persist*, you can get a blessing, a *change*!And finally, **Lot and the angels in Sodom!** Sodom, it was a wicked place, full of sin and corruption. And these angels, they came in disguise, lookin' like regular men. But Lot, he recognized somethin' different. He offered them hospitality. But the city… the city didn't want no parts of them. They wanted to defile these messengers of God. This here highlights that the spiritual, it's often hidden in plain sight. We gotta have eyes to *see* it, hearts to *receive* it. And sometimes, standin' up for the divine means standin' *against* the world. So what are we sayin'? These stories, they ain't just fairy tales, y'all. They're real encounters, real moments where the veil between the earthly and the heavenly, it got thin. They show us that God ain't distant, that He sends His messengers, that He's present in our lives, even when we least expect it. Open your eyes, church! Open your hearts! The spiritual dimension, it's all around us!I'm Gail Nobles. Thank you for listening to Bible Happenings.Bible Happenings

Biblical Prophecy & Modern Times 1:11:25 3.26 PM
Photo: Pixabay.comStory by: Gail NoblesIn the book of Daniel, chapter 12, verse 4, it states, “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” This verse suggests that as we approach the end times, there will be an increase in both travel and the growth of knowledge. In the book of Genesis, chapter 11, we learn that the whole world once spoke one language. The people united to build a city and a tower whose top could reach unto heaven. The people were one. In response, God confounded their language so they could not understand one another. Consequently, they were scattered across the earth, and they left off to build the city.Today, we see Technology has greatly advanced, and we now have tools like Google Translate, which allows us to easily understand foreign languages.Additionally, artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming our lives and work, making information more accessible than ever before. These developments show that the amount of knowledge available in our world has indeed increased, just as predicted in the Bible.I'm Gail Nobles, and you're listening to Bible Happenings.Bible Happenings

Gibson’s Passion 12:16:24 5.07 PM
Story by: Gail NoblesPhoto by: Georges BiardUsage: Wikipedia CC BY-SA 3.0Well, here’s something I didn’t see coming: Mel Gibson, that fiery actor we all know, decided to take achance at filmmaking by co-producing, co-writing, and directing a biblical epic back in 2004 called The Passion of the Christ. Now, if memory serves, I was under the impression that he had some Christian beliefs, but truth be told, I didn’t know a whole lot about his past or how he ended up there. When the film hit theaters, it was like a crowd—people flocked to see it. I remember standing in a long line, feeling as if I was about to witness some miraculous event. There was a fear that my family and I might miss out, that we might not get tickets. But lo and behold, we finally got into the theater. What unfolded on that screen was something else. I was struck by the sadness of it all, and it certainly didn’t unfold the way I had imagined. The movie was not like all the other movies I had seen about Christ. There were folks in the audience, visibly moved to tears. You see, this wasn’t just any ordinary portrayal of Christ; it was Mel Gibson’s unique take. And, of course, critics didn’t hold back—they claimed it was a brutally violent film. They argued that rather than explaining Christ’s teachings, it showcased Gibson’s fascination with violence, almost as if it were the main attraction of the picture. Some folks thought he spent too much time on the blood and guts rather than the message. Who would have thought a film about Christ could stir up such a disturbance? So there I sat in the theater surrounded by tears and powerfully haunting, imagery, pondering life, suffering, and the vision of faith. When I walked out, I realize there are more people who love Christ than I had previously thought. Many came to see the film, and it seemed that art has a unique power to confront us with what we might prefer to ignore even when it’s a bit too vivid or uncomfortable. Regardless of how we see it, Gibson certainly left his mark on the world of biblical films.I'm Gail Nobles. Thank you for listening.Bible Happenings

The Living Word-A Reality Today 10:16:24 7.03 PM
The Living Wird: A Reality by: Gail NoblesAs we gather in the warmth of fellowship, let us turn our hearts and minds to the extraordinary miracle taking place every time we open the pages of the Bible. This is not merely an ancient collection of texts. What we hold in our hands is the living Word of God—a divine narrative that continues to unfold in our lives and in the world around us.The Apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Timothy 3:16 that "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness ." Each time we read these sacred scriptures, we are not bound by the dust of history; instead, we are invited into a lively conversation with the Creator of the world. When we open the Bible, God speaks afresh to us, guiding, challenging, and comforting us right where we are.Let us consider the story of the Prodigal Son, a parable told in Luke 15. Though centuries old, its truth remains relevant today. Every day, countless individuals experience the struggle of wandering away from their true identity, lost in the noise and chaos of life. Yet, the moment they turn to the Father—as the Prodigal did—they find not condemnation, but compassion and grace. This narrative is not just a story; it’s a reality being lived out in our communities, in our families, and even within ourselves. We read in Philippians 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." This is not a past promise, but a present reality. Friends, we see this promise manifested every day as we witness God providing for those in need, restoring hope where despair has taken root, and bringing peace in the middle of chaos. The Bible is alive because the God it reveals is alive and working among us.Let us also reflect on the words of Isaiah 40:8: "The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever." In a world that often changes like the shifting sands, the truths of scripture remain firm. They are for today, tomorrow, and every day thereafter. When we declare that the Bible is "happening," we affirm that it is relevant, transformative, and powerful in our daily lives. So, as you engage with Scripture, remember that it is not of the past, but an active and living force. It challenges us to action, calls us into deeper faith, and reminds us that we are part of a grander story—God's story, which is still being written.Let us pray, then, that our eyes may be opened to see the Word actively at work in our lives, that we may hear it connecting in our hearts, and that we might share this living truth with a world that desperately needs it.I’m Gail Nobles. The Red Heifer & Jerusalem 8:4:24 3.03 PM
The Epic 2 by Rafael Krux Link: https://filmmusic.io/song/5384-the-epic-2- License: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Music promoted on https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/This is an endtime news report. Today's topic: The Red Heifer and Jerusalem. There are things happening from the Bible, and people try to do things the Bible way. But that does not mean they are always done right. We try to understand the Bible and do the best that we can. Television news has mentioned that there will be a sacrifice of a red cow. I've been hearing something about a third temple in Jerusalem. There are Christians that are worried about this news. Some Christians feel that there is no need to sacrifice a red cow. Some don't believe in any of it because they know it's all about Jesus. He died for our sins. He is the savior. The red heifer known as the red cow is a heifer sacrificed by the priest as a sacrifice to God in the Bible. It's ashes after being sacrificed and burned were used for the ritual purification as a prelude to building their temple. You can find out about the heifer in the Old Testament of the Bible like the Book of Numbers. But in the new, we read about Jesus. In Hebrews 9 let's start with verse 11.11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? This means there is a greater sacrifice which is Christ. I'm Gail Nobles. Thank you for listening.Bible Happenings

The Ark of the Covenant 7:25:24 12.19 AM
The Ark of the Covenant also known as the Ark of the Testament where the Ark of God is described as a wooden chest coated in pure gold and topped off by the elaborate golden lid known as the mercy seat. The art contained the tablets of the law by which God delivered the 10 Commandments to Moses at Mount Sinai. According to the book of Exodus and Numbers it also contained Aaron's rod and a part of manna. The ark of the covenant is often understood to represent God's presence. Number 10:33 through 36 describes how the Israelites journeyed with the ark leading them suggesting that the ark accompanied them as a manifestation of God presence. In 1 Samuel 4:4 the ark is described as being brought into battle with the understanding that it would provide the Israelites with God's presence and support in their struggle against the Philistines.Jerimiah 3:16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the LORD, they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the LORD: neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more. That means the ark of the covenant won't be necessary.Rev. 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail. So within the temple was seen the ark of the testament. I’m going to leave it at that. Can you feel the presence of the Lord in your life today? Regardless of the art, we have God's presence with us. Benefits from God’s Words 6:28:24 9.29 AM
Music Presentation: Audionautix.comPhoto: Pexels.comYou might not believe it, but you can get good health and healing from God's word for the man, soul, and body. You have to spend time with God, read his word, and study his word. Try to live the word by doing what he tells you when he tells you that he's going to heal you. You have to believe and listen and trust in him.Proverbs 4:20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. God tells us to attend to his words. They are life into those that find them. The Lord will be your way. He is the light. He is the healer of all diseases and sickness. He can take away fear, stress, and sorrow. We need to see him every day. Just like we think we need a one day vitamin, we need God every day. We can do nothing without him. The Levites (Album) 4:11:24 11.58 PM
Story by: Gail NoblesCover art by: Gail NoblesChoir effect: Gail NoblesThere is a Jewish soulful choir group that sings music from the Jewish tradition and roots. I don't understand the language, but the choir sounds beautiful. They make you feel like you are in connection with the Bible and the traditional Jewish singing and songs. The vocals on the album are outstanding. There is wonderful and perfect harmony. You can find out about the Levites and what they did in the Bible. The book of Numbers is a good place to start. The Levites are the descendants of Levi. They are Jewish males. From what I can understand, some of them were priests. According to first Chronicles chapter 9 verse 33 some singers, chief of the fathers of Levites, who remaining in the chambers were free: for they were employed in that work day and night. When you listen to Levi's album, it can take your mind back to the Bible. Hearing the Levites (album) can make you feel like you are there. You can hear the album on YouTube and Spotify. Saints In Heaven Alive 3:18:24 1.06 PM
THE GOD OF THE LIVINGSAINTS IN HEAVEN ALIVEJesus said and Matthew chapter 22 verse 31 through 32 But as touching the resurrection of the dead have you not read, that which was spoken to you by, God, saying 32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. The Bible also mentions Moses and Elijah appeared and was transfigured before Peter, James, and John. And Moses and Elijah talked with Jesus. Moses and Elijah had lived long ago on the Earth before the disciples of Jesus. Elijah went to heaven on a chariot, and we assume Moses was resurrected and long before Christ. You can read Matthew 17: 1-8. Some people still think they see Saints today. It might seem rare but I wouldn't doubt it. Jesus visited his disciples after he rose from the dead. But before then when Jesus died, the graves were opened and many bodies of the Saints which slept arose and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. You'll find that in Matthew 27 verse 52.In Malachi 4:5 the Bible said Behold, I will send you Elijah and the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.1 Cor. 15:51-52 Behold, I show you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye.Jesus lets us know in St. John 5:17 that he works. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. I believe Jesus is still working because his father never stops working which is God in heaven.Bible Happenings

Norman Corwin’s Job 10:10:23 12.22 PM
Audio: 3 Columbia Workshop 41-08-24 (016) Old Testament Trilogy Part 3Downloaded from: archives.orgUsage: Public DomainHello! I'm Gail Nobles. You're now listening to Bible Drama. I'd like to share with you today another Bible story from the Old Testament trilogy by Norman Corwin. It is from the 1941 season of the Columbia workshop. Today I share the story of Job. There is a lesson in the story of Job. We are a lot like Job when we have trials tribulations and suffering. We wonder why things happen to us when we are doing our best to live right. We wonder why it takes so long for the Lord to deliver us from our trials and answer our prayers. It may take a while but God does answer prayers. Enjoy the dramatizing story of Job.Bible Happenings

The Earth Is Changing 2:22:23 12.38 PM
The Epic 2 by Rafael KruxLink: https://filmmusic.io/song/5384-the-epic-2-License: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted on https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/ Photo credit: Kelvinsong - Own workUsage: Wikipedia CC BY-SA 3.0This is the end time news. Today’s topic is “The Earth Is Changing”. Hi! I’m Gail Nobles. Welcome to end time news. According to headlines, the spin of Earth’s Inner core may be changing. That’s what scientists say. Scientists may be right. A new study finds that our planet’s iron center shifts between spinning slightly faster and slightly slower than the surface - but not all experts agree according to an article written by Will Sullivan in the online Smithsonian Magazine. According to the scriptures, the earth will change. The earth will perish on account of sin. One day it will disappear altogether. According to Rev. 21:1, there will be a new heaven and a new earth. The first heaven and the first earth will pass away; and there will be no more sea. Isaiah 24:20 said, “The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgressions thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.”So my point is scientists may be right in what they think they see happening. The scriptures do mention the earth and how it will move & be removed. So don’t be surprised at what you see because we are living in the end time.Bible Happenings

Wealth & Riches 9:7:22 9.42 AM
Photo: https://pixabay.com/photos/money-euro-finance-currency-wealth-3864576/Hi, I’m Gail Nobles. Today’s topic is wealth and riches. Many of us desire wealth. People have died over money. There are many of us that don’t understand that God himself is true wealth & riches. There are people that don’t see and understand from God’s point of view. Jesus said in Matt. 6:19-21 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. You have to believe that. I think about what Jesus said about the sower that Soweth the word.In Mark 4:15 And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts. Verse 19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.Jesus told a parable about how one man was rich & the other one was poor. Lazarus was the one that was poor. The poor man went to heaven. The rich man went to hell. St. Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. We’ve got to remember the poor when we are rich. 1 Timothy 6:17-19 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; ..All things. We don’t give ourselves anything. Riches and wealth belongs to God.Proverbs 8:18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. We must depend on God and serve him. God owns everything. According to Deuteronomy 8:18 We must remember the Lord because it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth …There are people out there that are truly rich in the Lord. His word is happening. Thanks everyone for listening. Tune in next time for more.Bible Happenings

To Be Set Apart 9:6:22 9.09 AM
Today’s topic: To Be Set ApartGod sets apart believers in Christ to be His chosen people. We are also set apart by God to do work for him on earth. Jesus said in St. John 17:16-19 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. We are also called to be holy, just as God is holy (1 Peter 1:15-16). 15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; 16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. This means when we are set apart by God, we are to live our lives differently than the world. We have to live according to how God wants us to live, Not the way the world wants us to live. We have to listen to God and do what he tells us to do. We need to do things his way. We need to live according to God’s word. We need to focus on God and not get caught up in the world. His word is real. The things you see are happening. The things you read in his word are happening. I’m Gail Nobles, and you’re listening to Bible Happenings.Bible Happenings

The Upper Room 9:4:22 11.47 AM
Wind effect: Soundbible.comMale Voice created by: Gail NoblesToday’s topic is The Upper Room. What is the Upper Room? According to Acts 1:12-14 it is a place of fellowship & reunion. 12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James. 14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.Acts 2:1-4 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. So the upper room is a place of spiritual impaction and gifts. It is also a meeting place for Christlike people. According to Acts 1:24, it is a place to seek God’s face in a time of decision making.Verse 24 And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen, ..That was the time when Judas Iscariot had to be replaced. The upper room is a place of prayer. Ability In the Lord 9:2:22 9.12 PM
Hi, I’m Gail Nobles. Today’s topic is “Ability in the Lord”. There is ability in the Lord. Jesus said : 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father ( St. John 14:12).If you believe and trust in God you will do greater works. His word is happening to people. You have ability in the Lord. It has nothing to do with fantasy or pretending. God is real.Philippians 4:13 - I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.That means all things and through Christ. All things. Do you know you have this ability? It’s important to learn about the Lord and what you can do today because things are happening in his word. Colossians 3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;Go about the Lord’s work with all your heart. Work for the Lord.Verse 24Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. 25But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. We must know who we are in the Lord. Do you know that you have ability in the Lord? I’m Gail Nobles, and you’re listening to Bible Happenings.Bible Happenings

At Matt. 24 _ 2:25:22 10.32 AM
Hello, I’m Gail Nobles. We are living in the end time, and I guess you might be wondering where we are in the Bible. I believe that we are at Matt. 24:6.“ And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.”We see soldiers marching and preparing for war. Today we hear about Russia invading Ukraine. We are now hearing that China could invade Taiwan in 2022. By the time you finish hearing this podcast, you’ll probably see and hear more.We see our grocery store shelves looking empty. That’s a sign of food shortage. The things that the Bible said would happen are happening. But the people that are of the world do not think so like the people that watch and pray and study the Bible. They do not want to believe that Christ is coming. They are not ready to see him because they are not ready to give up what they have or maybe for some other reasons. However, the Lord is soon to come. Nobody will miss the return of Jesus.Jesus said in Matt. 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. And he said in verse 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; …. Also the Bible mentioned scoffers. 2 Peter 3:3-4 3 Know this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.” That is happening right now.Bible Happenings

False Christ 11:9:21 11.58 PM
The Epic 2 by Rafael KruxLink: https://filmmusic.io/song/5384-the-epic-2-License: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Music promoted on https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/ Photo credit: Wikipedia.orgUsage: freeIt is said that there are at least seven men around the world that claim to be Jesus Christ reincarnated and may have followers. One of them goes by the name Intro Christo. He claims to be the reincarnation of Jesus. He became famous as a persona in comedy television programs, getting to participate in a widely circulated advertising campaign. Now, we all know that is not Jesus. The real Jesus is not of this world, but he is coming back.Jesus in the Bible warned us to take heed that we be not deceived: for many should come in his name saying, I am Christ; and the time drawers near: go ye not therefore after them. You’ll find that verse in Luke chapter 21:8.Bible Happenings

Henry Ian Cusick Who Starred as Jesus 9:19:21 9.26 PM
Story, music, and song by: Gail Nobles © 2021Photo credit: Rights to official image given to Henry Ian CusickUsage: CC BY-SA 4.0Henry Ian Cusick starred as Jesus in The Gospel of John. He acted out the story that Christ is the eternal Son of God. The true Messiah and Savior of the world. Through Henry’s acting, we are told and taught through the word of God that we should be saved by Jesus. Henry is not Jesus. He was just the image of a man that looks like Jesus for the movie. Acting out the Lord made him an evangelist speaking the words of Jesus. That Jesus is one with the father. Henry showed us why Christ is called the Word. He showed us Christ was crucified and that Christ rose from the dead and no longer in the grave. That he is the bread of life, the light of the world, the door for the sheep, the good Shepard, the Resurrection and the life. The way, the Truth, and the life.If you’re reading the Gospel of John and don’t understand it, keep reading it. Keep reading the Bible. Keep seeking Christ, and he will help you understand. And if you don’t mind, watch Henry Ian Cusick the actor who starred as Jesus. It was an awesome movie. The Gospel of John. But keep in mind, it’s no act. The word of God is real.Bible Happenings

Not With the Crowd 9:18:21 6.59 PM
The Epic 2 by Rafael KruxLink: https://filmmusic.io/song/5384-the-epic-2-License: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Music promoted on https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/ Photo credit: Pixabay.comThis is the End Time News. Today’s topic: Not With The Crowd. I’m your host Gail Nobles. Yes, we’re living in the last days, and there is so much out there in the world. Do you try to serve God? Does it seem like everybody is going in a different direction than you? Do you ever feel like you’re not with the crowd? It feels kind of lonely, doesn’t it? Your friends may get upset with you when they know you’re being led in the right direction. They might tell you in order to hang with them, you’ve got to be like them. You’ve got to make the choices that they make. Your friends might want you to do things that are not right. But God is telling you to do the right thing. You must serve God and not your friends. If you’re friends are telling you to do wrong, you know they are not your friends and may be leading you in the wrong direction. That may be a terrible end for you. If you don’t do the wrong things that your friends do, they may covet and turn out to be your enemies. Don’t try to fit in with the crowd. Stand your ground. 1 Peter 2:9-109 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy. If you’re not with the crowd, you are not alone. Stay with God. Stay saved and do the right thing.Bible Happenings

The Lord is Soon to Come - 3:19:21, 2.12 PM
I never thought I’d see days like I see now in my life time. Coronavirus & Pandemic. I see riots and people fighting. Tornadoes and all sorts of destruction. The end time seems more near to me now than it ever did. I was warned in my dreams that the Lord was soon to come. It seemed so far away then. When my mom got sick and passed away, I began to feel change. The Bible did mention in Isaiah 57:1 that the righteous perish, and no none takes it to heart. This verse was recognized when I saw my mom trying hard to serve God, and I didn’t understand why she had to go. The Lord always answered her prayers and blessed her. Even my mom felt something when she saw herself falling apart. She said: It must be something going on that I have to be this way, but you got to see me this way. And the Lord said he’s coming to take me home. Isaiah 57:1 also mentioned that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come." My mom died in 2001. This world will soon end, and I know the Lord is coming. I heard people say that they weren’t ready and that heaven could wait. I say this world is not my home. I’m ready to get away from the grief and pain. I’m ready to see Jesus cause when he comes back, everything that’s bad will go away. I want to be happy and reign with Christ and see my mother again. I’m excited about the coming of the Lord. No more bills. No more taxes. No more sickness. No more sorrow. No more death. Everything will be perfect. When the Pandemic came, I heard the Lord say: Do not be afraid. I am with thee. And those words are found in Isaiah 41:10. Everything that the Bible said was going to happen is happening. If you don’t believe in God, you should at least consider that. Read his word and study the prophecy. I’m Gail Nobles. Goodbye for now.Bible Happenings

Norman Corwin's Samson - 10:11:20, 2.50 PM
Title: The Old Testament Trilogy (Samson Play)By: Norman CorwinUsage: Public DomainDownloaded from: archive.orgOpening to play: Gail NoblesKeyboard music by: Gail NoblesPhoto credit: By José Echenagusia Errazquin (1887)Usage: Public Domain/Wikipedia.orgThe Bible is true of the things that were and of the things that are. This is Bible Drama. The Bible can be very enjoyable. It is also something we should take very seriously because it is about us. It tells the history of the world. The Bible is important. The Bible should play the most important role in life. Today you will hear the 1941 season of the Columbia workshop. You will hear a play dramatizing the story of Samson from the Old Testament, written by Norman Corwin. Norman was a writer, screenwriter, producer, essayist and teacher of journalism and writing. His earliest and biggest successes were in the writing and directing of radio drama during the 1930's and 1940's. The play Samson is from his Old Testament Trilogy. Samson was a lot like us. Norman Corwin chose a good story to dramatize. We need to listen to the story of Samson. Like him, sometimes we deal with the wrong people, and then we are betrayed. We can cause things upon ourselves through lust. Samson had been more than once brought into mischief and danger by the love of women according to the book of Judges chapter 14 and chapter 16. Yet, he would not take heed, but is again taken in the same snare, and the third time was his final end. Let's begin now and listen to the play of Norman Corwin's Samson. ....Bible Happenings

Angels Singing - 3:4:20, 9.06 PM
Title: Angels SingingStory by: Gail NoblesKeyboard player by: Gail NoblesBig Horn Intro by: https://audionautix.comAngel Choir: By Gail NoblesThe Bible does mention angels singing, and one morning I heard angels singing. It was a peaceful and quite early morning. There was not one sound. And when I heard them sing, I was in the bathroom. I peeped out of the door. Again, there was no sound. I stuck my head back inside and closed the door and heard voices again. I peeped again and again there was no sound. That morning, I was getting ready for work. I listened for the sound of that singing the third time, but there was no sound. In my heart, I was very nervous. Then I asked the Lord, "Lord, what does that mean? Am I going to die or is it someone else? Am I in trouble?" The Lord would not answer me until I was out of the house. He said to me, "It means keep on living and take nothing upon yourself."I understood the Lord. He wanted me to live and go to him for everything. Thank you Lord.Luke 2:13-14 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. Psalm 23 - 12:13:18, 7.39 PM
Song by: Gail NoblesMusic by: Gail NoblesWhen the Lord is the Shepherd, he will supply our needs. We don't have to fear any evil. When there is danger, the Lord's presence is with us. We can lie down without worry. He gives us our daily bread. He leads us and guides us by his word. David said he leadeth beside the still waters. The waters are still. He gives us direction and not to those troubled waters. He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Things may look dark and dreadful. When you are sick or on a dangerous highway.Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies. A cup that runneth over to me is a cup filled up. You don't have to worry about hunger or thirst. Psalm 23 means that God is with us and taking care of us. The Lord is the shepherd.Bible Happenings

Mine Own Familiar Friend - 12:1:18, 2.07 PM
Title: Mine Own Familiar FriendBy Gail NoblesMusic by: https://audionautix.com/Music/Voices by: Gail NoblesIn Psalm 41:9, King David said, " Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me."People are saying the same thing today about how their friends turn against them. True friendship is rare. You're lucky to have one bosom friend. It's no surprise when we receive evil from those that we claim to be our friends. People turn against God and do him wrong also. If people are doing God wrong, they will also do a friend wrong. Judas betrayed Jesus and sold him for 30 pieces of silver according to Matt. 26. And in Luke 22:48, But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss. I'm Gail Nobles and today's topic is, Mine Own Familiar Friend.Bible Happenings
