The lie that trips us up

Happy people all have something in common. It’s not that they’re all rich, thin, successful, good-looking, or famous. Nor is it that they’re the ones with the fastest cars, the best toys, the routine spa days, or the best bodies. They don’t have the biggest houses or experience the most exotic vacations. They didn’t win the lottery or marry the perfect spouse. They don’t have the most important job, the most Facebook likes, the best YouTube channel, or the best-behaved children.
