The Life of Christ in Thirty Lessons with Fred Hardwicke
from Do More With Your Dog! - Kyra Sundance
Fred Hardwicke, MD completed his medical oncology fellowship in Oklahoma City in 1990 and following ten years of private practice came to the Texas Tech Medical Center in Lubbock, where he currently serves as hematology/medical oncology fellowship director. Fred came to faith at an early age and was encouraged to read, study, and memorize from the Bible. In college, he was known as “a walking concordance,” and over the years he has been involved in churches and Christian organizations as a leader, a teacher, and as a servant. He also has been a part of music ministry and has recorded three piano CDs. For the last ten years, he has been focused on the proper structuring and understanding of the books of Luke and Acts. It is his belief that Luke was a “numbers guy” and that his portion of the New Testament mixes the usual literary conventions of the day with a numbers trail that is commonly missed. Ultimately, Fred believes that a better understanding of Luke and Acts leads to a better appreciation of the Bible as a whole.
