The Life of Jesus in 10 Minutes

Jesus Christ was born around 6 BC in Bethlehem, fled to Egypt as an infant to escape King Herod, then grew up in Nazareth where little is known about his life until age 30. Around AD 25-26, he began a three-year public ministry based in Capernaum, traveling throughout Galilee and surrounding regions on foot, performing numerous miracles including healing the sick, calming storms, and raising three people from the grave. In spring AD 27, he made his final journey to Jerusalem for Passover, entering the city on a donkey to massive crowds on Sunday. Five days later, after being betrayed by Judas, he was arrested Thursday night, tried before Jewish and Roman authorities overnight, and crucified at Golgotha on Friday morning at 9 AM, dying at 3 PM. On Sunday morning, approximately 36-40 hours after his burial, women found his tomb empty, and over the next 40 days he appeared to his followers multiple times before ascending from the Mount of Olives.
