The Light and Dark Side of Bullying
from EZ Conversations · host Furkhan Dandia
In this episode, I sit with down with Na'eem Adam, whom I went to high school with. Na'eem is an entrepreneur to the core. He co-founded Canada's largest restaurant festivals; Le Burger Week, La Poutine Week and La Pizza Week. He co-founded Anatha Fest, an annual wellness and music festival in Quebec, and founded dineTab, an NFT loyalty platform for restaurants, events and festivals. Na'eem is a father of a 7-year-old boy and husband to an entrepreneur/DJ. He likes to balance out with nature, yoga and wellness. Na'eem and I talk about our experience with being bullied in high school, and how that forced us to become resilient and find light. However, we also talk about the parts of ourselves we repressed and hid in the dark. We conclude with Na'eem sharing an exciting non-for-profit Music and Wellness festival outside Montreal, Anatha Fest. I will also be giving a self-love workshop at this festival, so please check Anathafest.com for details.
