The Light of Your Face

The whole restless world is asking the same question: who will show us some good? In Psalm 4, a king with trouble pressing in on every side finds an answer that lets him lie down and sleep in peace, and it isn't a change in his circumstances. It's a face: the shining face of God, promised in an ancient blessing and finally revealed in Jesus Christ.
