The Light under the basket
from Christian motivation station Hosted by Donavon Flanagan
Send a text This is written in Matthew 5:14-16, Mark 4:21,22 and finally in Luke 8:16,17 as well as 11:33-36 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” In this parable Jesus gives us such an astounding compliment but such a great responsibility simultaneously.
