The Lighthouse

There appears to be some enchantment in the light in Robert Eggers's sophomore film The Lighthouse. Two lighthouse keepers played by Robert Pattinson and Willem Dafoe are tasked with cleaning for a month on a small island. As time goes on the lines become blurred of what is real and what is merely an imagination as madness slowly takes over.
