Then we share a 1938 Colliers article that gives the full and often hilarious account of how Bates rents Booth's (supposed) mummy to a carnival huckster who soon finds out that the mummy is losing money for him and cursing his show, Then the carnival huckster retires broke to operate a potato farm in Iowa where he is soon found by a lawyer and Booth history buff who becomes convinced that the mummy is Booth and they go on tour., facing all kinds of obstacles. It is one of craziest true stories I have ever shared, (true meaning what they did~I'll leave it up to on the identity of the mummy)..
