The Texas power grid’s ability to withstand extreme weather events could hinge on the outcome of the state’s gubernatorial election. That’s because the candidates — Republican Gov. Greg Abbott and Democratic challenger Beto O’Rourke — have very different views on the reliability of the state’s power system.
