The Little Bear from Rome - Dario Orsili Top Bartender and why Glen Grant is so popular in Italy

Another Balmoral Scotch Whisky Bar connection joined us this week in the Dugoot in Diggers. Dario claims he should have been Scottish instead of Italian. And his Italian passion shines through whenever he talks about anything to do with whisky. Having owned his own bar in Rome, packing it up and heading out to see the world, he ended up in Edinburgh and it didn't take long before he was mesmerising people with his gift for creating incredible cocktails and talking about whisky. Dario is now the Head Bartender at the new 100 Princess Street Edinburgh which is a luxury hotel with an exclusive whisky bar for residents and members only. Dario is curating and growing the whisky collection as well as offering his skills in serving great drinks.
