The Little Girl

Since I arrived in Laredo I’ve heard stories about people seeing a little girl at Mall del Norte late in the evening when everyone has gone home. The cleaning staff would see this spirit near the Sear’s Store. She was wearing a white dress that looked too fancy for a shopping trip. It was down to her knees. If the cleaning staff tried to approach her she would vanish.I heard this story so often when I was out for a late night run, I would swing by the mall and look through the doors as I passed the Sear’s. Just about any time I asked people about ghost stories I would hear about the Mall Ghost, or the Little Girl. Some folks could describe her right down to the old fashioned boots she had on with buttons for closures. This same little girl has been seen all over town, from Laredo College to the Arena.
