The Liturgy of the Catholic Mass is the Holy Desire of Our Heart (First Sunday of Lent – Year C)

As we embark on the sacred journey of Lent, today's readings invite us to reflect on the profound theme of holy desire. This longing, deeply rooted in our hearts, calls us to seek union with God and resist the temptations that pull us away from our true purpose. Through the memory of Christ's victory over Satan and the transformative power of the Eucharist, we are reminded that our deepest yearning is for the divine grace that leads to eternal salvation. Let this holy desire guide our Lenten journey, drawing us closer to the heart of God.
