THE LOI POD: Russell aiming to translate Sligo success to Shels | Rovers turn it around in Europe, can Bohs and Derry follow their lead?

Ben Symes is in for Stephen Doyle on this week’s League of Ireland Pod, alongside Vinny Perth and Gareth McGlynn, after a chaotic, unorthodox run of fixtures across the Premier Division. They break down Drogheda’s massive 2-1 win away to Dundalk, the fallout and what it means at the bottom, plus Eoin Kenny’s move to Portsmouth and why it’s a brilliant, hard-earned story. There’s big talk on John Russell leaving Sligo for Shelbourne — what it does to the Bit O’ Red, what Russell can bring to Tolka, and the growing Jamestown Analytics model behind the scenes. And it’s Europe and the FAI Cup: Rovers’ 5-1 statement, Derry’s hope in the Brandywell, Bohs in Gibraltar, and the Ringmahon Rangers controversy. And as ever, we are looking for your inspiration to help us, fancy getting in touch? You can do so by emailing [email protected] us on socials @offtheball across all our platforms.Or if you want to contact us directly message the @offtheball.football account on Instagram. And as ever, we are on WhatsApp on 087 9 180 180.Become a member and sign up at offtheball.com/joinThe LOI Pod on Off The Ball.
