The London Marathon 2021 RunPod Special

This weekend thousands of runners will take to the streets of London to take on the 41st Virgin Money London Marathon. It’s one of the most iconic marathons on the planet and is set to be the biggest marathon not just since Covid but the biggest mass participation marathon ever. Even if you’re not taking part, in this episode you’ll get a little taster of what it’s like and perhaps this will encourage you to enter the ballot for next year! Jenni speaks to Race Director, Hugh Brasher, who shares news of when that 2022 ballot opens. He also gives a great insight into what we can expect from 2021’s race and how things have changed in light of the pandemic. Jenni also speaks to London Marathon officials, Fran Ridler and Chris Davey who work on the start and finish line.
